Woven Carton
A Wastecraft Project
Cartons such as those made by Tetra Pak and other companies cannot be recycled easily as they are made from a "composite" board. This board is a sandwich of plastic PE, aluminium and card. This composite board is strong because of these layers of different materials, and lends itself quite well to being woven. This basket is made from for cartons that have been woven together. No glue or tape! :)
